The Physics Forceps® are an atraumatic extraction system that provides a simple, predictable and unconventional method of extracting teeth regardless of a practitioner’s extraction experience, or the condition of the tooth, while providing a positive patient experience.
The Physics Forceps® operate as an elevator, rather than forceps, using first-class lever mechanics. One handle is connected to a "bumper," which acts as the fulcrum, that is placed deep in the vestibule. The other handle is connected to the "beak," which is positioned most often on the lingual or palatal root of the tooth into the gingival sulcus. No aspect of the instrument grasps the crown and there is no advanced elevation needed. Once the instrument is properly placed, the handles are rotated a few degrees with only wrist movement in a slow, steady and controlled manner — no squeezing!
The Physics Forceps® are effective in most cases, including badly decayed or broken down teeth, endodontically treated teeth, fractured or fragile teeth, curved or long rooted molars and cuspids, or any tooth that would historically be challenging with conventional instrumentation. The Physics Forceps® are ideal for implantologist that wants to preserve the surrounding bone and tissue in preparation for dental implants.
Apicoectomy is used to eliminate an infection in the root of a tooth and the surrounding tissues. Here you will find all the information about this treatment.
00:00 Introduction:
3D video of Clínica Médico Dental Pardiñas (http://j.mp/cPardinas) about apicoectomy, a dental treatment to remove an infection that affects the root apex of a tooth and adjacent tissues.
00:10 What is apicoectomy?
The apicoectomy is a procedure to remove an infection that affects the root of a tooth and the adjacent tissues. It is performed in cases where the endodontic treatment has failed, presence of canals or false canals unsealed or in teeth where the access to the apex is not possible by a conventional root canal treatment.
00:40 How is an apicoectomy performed?
To do so, an incision is performed, and sufficient bone is removed to get access to the root apex. Then the infectious cyst is removed cleaning and irrigating the area. A beveled shape cut is made to the root removing the apex and sealing the root with different materials. The area is sutured and will regenerate until its complete healing.

WAMkey is, quite simply, the easiest to use and most effective crown and bridge removal system on the market. With advancements in adhesive cement, many crown removal products on the market have the potential of fracturing the tooth preparation. As a result, most dentists have resorted to cutting off crowns with high-speed diamond burs. This can take a lot of time, wear out your handpiece, use your burs, be uncomfortable for the patient and lastly be a very frustrating process. Try WAMkey with endo for easier access to canals and better diagnosis. Repair is easier and more reliable than on an occlusal surface. Allows for the crown to be re-used as temporary or permanently.
Dental Advisor recently rated it ++++1/2 and the 2015 Top Crown and Bridge Product. So do your patients and your practice a favor, and try the WAMkey today.

Wisdom Tooth Removal in Panama City FL: Lisa | Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center of Panama City- http://oralsurgerypanamacity.com
Wisdom teeth, or Third molars, are an additional set of teeth, which grow under the surface of the gums and, in many cases, are undetectable without proper x-ray evaluation or 3-D scanning. It is not uncommon for teens and adults to be unaware that these wisdom teeth exist in their mouth until they begin to present significant problems. In some cases, the third molars may fully grow into the mouth or partially grow into the mouth and additional issues may arise. Unfortunately, the majority of people do not have a long enough jaw bone or a large enough mouth to accommodate these teeth. Wisdom tooth removal by a licensed Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon will provide the highest quality surgical expertise for the surgical process.
Dr. Eric Claussen is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a licensed dentist. He has extensive experience in all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom teeth removal, anesthesia, and dental implant-related surgery. He believes in partnering with his patients to develop a plan for treatment. By allowing patients to be actively involved in their care, Dr. Claussen believes that they will be able to make informed decisions with regard to their treatment and feel more at ease during the procedure.
"Hi, my name is Lisa. I live at Panama City Beach. My daughter Carly is going to have her wisdom teeth out here with Dr. Eric Claussen. I'm really excited that Dr. Claussen is here in town and that we are able to go to him because I just wouldn't put Carly with just anyone. He is the best oral surgeon that I know of here in Bay County. Dr. Claussen is very personable. He takes the time with his patients. When Carly and I came here for our first visit, he took a lot of time with us and explained everything that was going to happen with Carly and what to expect. We were just really graciously informed of everything that was going to be happening with her surgery. I'm comfortable about it and I know Carly is, too. If there's some parents out there that are having their children’s wisdom teeth out, you're going to be in great hands. He's the best oral surgeon that I know of."

At Alexandria Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center, we will do everything possible to save a natural tooth. If extraction is the best option for you, your surgeon can create a treatment plan to remove your teeth efficiently and safely at one of our offices in Alexandria, LA, or Vidalia, LA. Sometimes tooth decay, injuries, and other problems lead to irreparable tooth damage. When restorative treatments, such as root canals, can’t save a tooth, removal may be the only option to prevent infections from spreading. Our surgeons can also provide options to replace your missing teeth, such as dental implants.
Dr. Smith received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Occidental College in 1988, after which he was part of a research team at Children’s Hospital of LA studying retinal cancer. He then decided to continue his education by earning his law degree at the University of Oregon. As a lawyer, he fiercely advocated for the right of his clients, and he carried that passion for helping people over into his medical career. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health & Sciences University, followed by a general surgery internship at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. He was drawn to the precise techniques involved in oral surgery, and completed an oral surgery residency program at the University of Louisville in 2006.

Guided surgery for tooth #28 using a 3d printed guide designed in the Blue Sky Bio software
http://www.smilesolutions.com.....au/general-dentistry
Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt in your mouth, which usually happens when you are between 16 and 23 years of age. When there is insufficient gum space for normal eruption, these teeth become "impacted" -- that is, they remain below the gum line, or not quite clear of it, because they cannot fully emerge.
Impacted wisdom teeth can cause infection of adjacent gum tissue, dental decay of adjacent teeth, crowding of front teeth or in rare cases, cysts.
It is well documented that removal of wisdom teeth in young adults (below the age of 25) is associated with less after-operation pain and swelling than in older adults. Therefore, if it is determined that your wisdom teeth are likely to cause problems, your dentist will usually recommend that you have them removed earlier rather than later.
Will I be awake or asleep during the procedure?
This will always be your choice, although recommendations will be made during your consultation appointment and your options will be assessed.
