If the rapid test is negative but the symptoms point to strep, a lab culture test can offer a more accurate result.Antibiotics treat strep throat. Once prescribed and taken, the symptoms resolve quickly for most patients.

Some procedures do not require full anesthesia. In these cases, sedation is used to keep you comfortable and relaxed during your procedure. You may be aware or have memories of a procedure done under sedation, and this is normal. In some cases, it is necessary to change from sedation to full general anesthesia.

Myiasis is the medical term for infestation of living tissues of humans and vertebrates by fly larvae.
